A family favorite, Garden Cafe is a Canto fusion cafe with a wide variety of food, ranging from rice porridge to club sandwiches. Service is horrible – typical of these types of restaurants. The food is not bad – the steaks my brother and I usually order is cooked right about half the time.
On Christmas, we stopped at the Rowland Heights restaurant after our San Diego trip to eat dinner. For once, the food was perfect. I ordered their filet mignon, cooked medium, and it was juicy and tender.
It made me very happy, and as I enjoyed the steak, I knew that it was a great ending to a wonderful Christmas.
